Forum Title: Buddist Monastary
Heres the job I was mentioning before. The roof I'm doing is on a new Meeting Room building, its 1mm thick Butyl rubber on plywood, with triangular battens where the seams are overlapped. The Monastary is at the end of a long valley, up in the forest, its actaully very peaceful, all you can hear is the birds singing in the trees and the skillsaws going ? Been a PITA with the weather, each morning everything is soaking wet, firstly it rained like cats and dogs the night before I was due to start. We had to take the battens off again because the water got under them. :S It didn't dry out till lunch time. Then this morning the whole valley was enveloped in Fog till 10am, and off course the dew was so heavy it might as well have rained again. I've got the main sheets down now and the seams taped, just got the turndowns to do. Heres a few pics, too bad about those ?machine marks? but they will dissapear when the rubber oxidizes ( in about 4 weeks) V this is the back of the building, note it has asphalt shingles on the roof, the builder did them himself :woohoo: V Close up of a Buddist Fascia Board ? V This is the flat roof I'm doing on the others side of the building V Budda V in the fog first thing, everything is wet V most of the feild sheets laid V at the end of the day, not a very good pic, the sun had gone around the back again
